Senator Scott Martin's Senior Expo scheduled for September 26 in Lancaster

More than 50 exhibitors will offer information on programs and services for older community residents at Senator Scott Martin’s Senior Expo on September 26 in Lancaster. The event is free to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Farm and Home Center, located at 1383 Arcadia Road.

State, county, and local agencies will provide information on various benefits for older Pennsylvanians. These include health and wellness, assistive technologies, consumer protection, income tax assistance, veteran benefits, traffic safety, utility assistance, and more.

Free health screenings, flu shots, door prizes, and light refreshments will be available for visitors. The American Red Cross will also host a blood drive at the event from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. by appointment.

Additionally, the Senior Expo will feature a food drive to benefit Loft Community Partnership. A drop box for donations will be available at the registration table.
