A highway dedication ceremony will be held to rename a portion of U.S. Route 222 in Lancaster County as the 'Senator Noah W. Wenger Memorial Highway' in honor of Senator Wenger’s service in the Pennsylvania General Assembly and his commitment to the people of Lancaster County. Act 63 of 2024 (Section 16) designated this portion from the interchange with U.S. Route 30 in Manheim Township to the interchange with Interstate 76, also known as the Pennsylvania Turnpike, in East Cocalico Township.

The event will feature Sen. Ryan Aument (R-36), Sen. Scott Martin (R-13), and family members of former Sen. Noah Wenger.

The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, September 22, at 2:00 p.m., at Calvary Church, located at 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster. It will take place in the back parking lot near the baseball field, regardless of weather conditions.

Media coverage is invited and appreciated.

For further information, contact Stephanie Applegate from Sen. Aument’s Office or Jason Thompson from Sen. Martin’s Office.
