Lancaster County Ctc-Willow St. Campus issued the following announcement on July 15.

The Lancaster County Career & Technology Center is currently accepting applications from adult education students to receive grant funding as part of the economic stimulus passed by the federal government.  This is the third round of Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) being made available.

Qualifying adult education students can receive money to help to defray the costs of education incurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.  HEERF Grant was made available by the United States Department of Education via the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).  This grant is intended to offset costs for tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care that may have become too costly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The distributions are needs-based so students can receive anywhere from $100 to $4,000 based upon their household income, household size, and additional needs as noted.

Please completely fill in all aspects of the application.  The link to the online application is below.  Priority for awarding funds will go to students who demonstrate the highest need, so please thoroughly explain how and why this grant would help you in the online application.

Contact Dr. Michael DelPriore if you have questions at mdelpriore@lancasterctc.edu.
