Rep. Bryan Cutler of Lancaster has announced that several schools in the 100th House District have been awarded grants by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s School Safety and Security Committee. The funding aims to enhance school safety and mental health resources.

The grants were distributed among five school districts: Lampeter-Strasburg School District received $150,698; Penn Manor School District was awarded $200,850; Pequea Valley School District obtained $125,851; Octorara School District got $140,492; and Solanco School District received $157,285.

"This is great news for our schools across the 100th District," said Cutler. "This funding will help these districts make improvements to their safety measures and make their buildings a safer place for students and teachers alike."
