Do you have a child who is age 3 or 4 (must be 3 on or before September 1st)? Are you looking for an exceptional school readiness program to kick start your child’s education? Lancaster County Thrive to Five, also known as Head Start / PreK Counts may be what you are looking for to assist your family.
The Lancaster County Thrive to Five (Head Start and PreK Counts) program offers a 5 hour per day session Monday through Friday providing children with early childhood education emphasizing language, math, science, art, physical activity and social skills, family support services, nutritious meals and health screenings. This year, there will be a Head Start / PreK Counts classroom at Martic Elementary School and we are hoping to fill a Head Start classroom at Pequea Elementary School.
