Pequea Elementary School issued the following announcement on Dec. 6.
We are proud to share the news: Pequea’s 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth Raff, has been named the 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year!
We are honored to work with Mrs. Raff and celebrate with her as she accepts this award and position as a leader in our profession. Mrs. Raff’s passion and love of teaching has been witnessed throughout the years and we are thrilled to see her be recognized for inspiring students and other education professionals. Congratulations Mrs. Raff!!!
Out of 500 school districts in Pennsylvania, only 12 finalists were chosen! To be a finalist is a huge accomplishment so we would like to congratulate all of the finalists.
