Red Ribbon Week

Pequea Elementary School issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.

October continues to be a busy month! Next week, we invite you to help us celebrate Red Ribbon Week!  

Red Ribbon Week is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. This is a nationally celebrated event, sponsored by the Lancaster County Drug and Alcohol Commission.  This year’s theme is, “Drug Free Looks Like Me!”.

Help us kick off next week by wearing red on Monday!

Show your personal commitment to a drug-free, healthy lifestyle by participating in the special week we have planned. All of the spirit days are listed below. Thank you for your support!

Monday, 10/25

“We’re REaDy for Red Ribbon Week!”

Wear the color red.

Tuesday, 10/26

“Team Up Against Drugs!”

Wear your favorite team jersey or Penn Manor gear.

Wednesday, 10/27

“Don’t Get Mixed Up in Drugs”

Wear mismatched clothing.

Thursday, 10/28

“Put Unhealthy Habits to Rest!”

Wear your P.J.’s (no slippers, please.)

Friday, 10/29

“Being Drug Free is No Sweat!”

Wear your sweats!
