Lancaster County Ctc-Willow St. Campus issued the following announcemen on Nov. 17.

There have been several recent positive test results for Covid-19 among the students in the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center’s Practical Nursing program.  Because of such an outbreak, the LCCTC must require all Practical Nursing students and staff to attend school virtually starting at 3 pm this afternoon.

Students and staff may return to normal class operation on Tuesday, November 30, if they are not presenting symptoms of infection.  Staff will be in communication with their students on the Canvas Learning System regarding their classwork.

This action is being taken because the number of confirmed Covid infections among PN students and staff has reached a threshold set by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  Institutions like the LCCTC that meet or exceed that threshold are required to close and shift to alternative instruction for a period of time.

If any students or staff develop symptoms during this time, please seek medical attention and notify the LCCTC.

Thank you and be safe.
