Martic Elementary School issued the following announcement on Nov. 16.
Today we hosted an amazing assembly titled Rockin’ in the USA. It was a tribute to music throughout the decades and a wonderful performance. The cutest part of the assembly was when a child looked at her teacher and said, “My dad would really love this!”
Another joy about this assembly was that one of the performers was Mrs. Fafel’s daughter. It was fun for the kids to see a friendly face. Thank you to our PTO for funding these amazing events. Later in the evening, I received communication from a Martic parent announcing that all of the boys from Martic were singing, We Will Rock You at wrestling practice tonight. I believe the assembly had a profound impact.
