Pequea Elementary School issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
We had a fabulous first day of school!
Dismissal was very busy and we greatly appreciate everyone’s patience. Our last bus just left school grounds about ten minutes ago. Additionally, we had an overabundance of car riders today and several had not previously communicated this with us.
Please note the following:
- Unless we hear differently from you, your child will go on the bus.
- If you need to communicate a change in dismissal plans (and haven’t already done this), for instance your child will be a car rider, please email the teacher and Mrs. Maule (jessica.maule@pennmanor.net).
- If your child attends the Y after school program and or WRAP, please communicate all dismissal changes with your child’s teacher, the Y program, and Mrs. Maule.
- Please note car rider tags were sent home with the youngest child in each family today. Using these and displaying them at pickup will be very helpful and help us speed up the process.
- If you live in Summerfield, your child is considered a walker unless we hear differently from you. No walkers should exit the door and enter a vehicle as this presents safety challenges.
