Hempfield School District issued the following announcement.
All in-person students will switch to full virtual learning for Monday, January 4, 2021. Meal service is available for all families.
For students and families who are learning in-person and desire a free meal on this full virtual day:
- Drive up curbside at the school your child attends and pick-up one breakfast and one lunch.
- Meal pick-up for in-person learning is available between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
- Students who are currently enrolled in the in-person learning option do not have to pre-order through Nutrislice.
- For in-person curbside meal pick-ups, please identify yourself as picking up a meal for an in-person student and provide the name of the student(s).
- Under this free meal program, if an in-person student receives more than one meal on Monday, they would be charged for any meals served on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is very important to identify yourself as an in-person pick-up to avoid any unnecessary charges.
- There is no change to the normal ordering or pick-up process.
- Please continue to pre-order through Nutrislice and pick-up at the designated times.
- Three breakfast and three lunch meals will be provided, as usual, on Monday.
