Denver Borough issued the following announcement.

2020 Denver Holiday Home Decorating Contest

Does decorating your home for the holidays bring back fond memories of times past and family traditions?  Or, do you like to celebrate the holiday season by decorating your home with whimsical or bright decorations.  Regardless of your personal preference, if you are interested in spreading holiday cheer to all people in your community through the holiday decorations at your home, you may be interested in participating in the latest program sponsored by the Borough of Denver.

During the first two (2) weeks of December, the Borough will sponsor the Denver Holiday Home Decorating Contest.  The contest will include decorations that can be seen from the outside and includes decorations in windows, on doors, the home, trees, yard areas, etc.

Representatives from the Borough will review the participating homes on Sunday, December 13th and make the decision for the winners of the contest.  Winners will be notified by telephone/email and the prizes will be awarded at the beginning of Borough Council’s December 28th meeting.  All prizes for the contest will be donated to the Borough by the local businesses in the community.
