Senator Scott Martin posted a series of updates on his social media account between December 10 and December 11, 2025, covering topics ranging from energy policy commentary to winter safety advice and participation in a veterans’ ceremony.

On December 10, Martin shared an opinion piece by Senator Gene Yaw regarding electric rates. He quoted the article: “Blaming PJM for high electric rates is like blaming an air traffic controller for the price of an airline ticket.”

The following day, Martin addressed public safety during winter conditions. In a tweet dated December 11, he wrote: “Knowing the weather forecast, increasing following distances, carrying an emergency kit and other simple steps can help you avoid winter driving trouble. Later on December 11, Martin highlighted his involvement in a ceremony honoring military veterans at the state Capitol. He stated: “Earlier this week, it was an honor to participate in @SenRobinsonPA’s ceremony at the Capitol honoring Wreaths Across America, a volunteer effort to honor the bravery and dedication of America’s veterans.”

PJM Interconnection is a regional transmission organization that coordinates electricity supply across several states; it has frequently been discussed in policy debates about energy prices. Wreaths Across America is an annual initiative where volunteers lay wreaths at veterans’ gravesites nationwide as a tribute to their service.
