On August 15, 2025, Senator Martin commented on legislative efforts regarding the state budget. He wrote, “House passage of our budget would have meant immediate funding to counties, school districts, hospitals, service providers and others who rely on state funding – without the need to raise taxes. We will keep fighting to protect our communities and taxpayers.”

Later that same day, Senator Martin highlighted concerns about children’s safety online. In his post dated August 15, 2025, he stated, “Kids face numerous dangers online, from threats of cyberbullying to grooming and sextortion. I’m sponsoring a Senate Resolution to help raise awareness of these threats and encourage safe online behaviors to minimize the risks to kids.”

On August 16, 2025, Senator Martin promoted an upcoming television appearance where he would discuss important current events. He posted, “It’s always great to visit Joel D. Smith and talk about the most important topics of the day. Check out the conversation on Face the State Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. on @CBS21NEWS”
