The office of Senator Scott Martin (R-Lancaster) will host a damaged license plate replacement event in collaboration with the East Earl Township Police Department on Tuesday, July 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is scheduled to take place at the East Earl Township Maintenance Building, located at 155 Ewell Road.

Motorists are encouraged to pre-register by calling Martin’s Strasburg district office at 717-397-1309. There is no fee for this service.

Damaged plates include those with loss of reflectivity, peeling, blistering, or dislocation that cannot be read from 50 feet away. Law enforcement officials will determine if a motorist’s plate needs replacement and assist with completing the necessary paperwork. Once PennDOT receives the paperwork, the replacement plate will be mailed to the motorist’s home address.
