PA Senator Scott Martin has issued a statement in response to the announcement that PA Senator Ryan P. Aument will resign from his Senate seat to take on a new role with U.S. Senator-elect Dave McCormick.

Senator Martin praised Aument for his service, stating, “Ryan Aument has served the citizens of the 36th Senatorial District and Lancaster County with integrity and a commitment to making our community and Commonwealth a better place.” He highlighted Aument’s dedication as both a colleague and friend within the General Assembly.

Martin expressed enthusiasm for Aument’s future endeavors, saying, “I am excited to see what he brings to his new leadership position and look forward to working with him in his new capacity.” He concluded by wishing Aument well as he transitions into this next phase of public service.
