Former Lampeter-Strasburg High School standout Maura Savoca played on Thursday, May 15 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Lampeter-Strasburg High School standout Maura Savoca’s current collegiate team the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen won 2-10 against the Case Western Reserve Spartans in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mather Park at 3:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Case Western Reserve Spartans in the tournament.

The Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen’s next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2:40 p.m. at Mather Park.
