House Republican Leader Bryan Cutler has commented on the ongoing voter registration fraud investigation in Lancaster County. In a statement, Cutler expressed support for the efforts of the Lancaster County Board of Elections and the district attorney’s office to address and eliminate fraud within the election process.

Cutler stated, “Pennsylvanians have demanded our elections be secure, safe and accurate, and I applaud the work by the Lancaster County Board of Elections and the district attorney’s office to catch and root out fraud in our election process.” He highlighted that as Lancaster County reaches new voter registration records this year, these officials are ensuring every vote is protected.

He also acknowledged the dedication of the Board of Elections staff and volunteers, particularly following recent accusations from Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt. According to Cutler, Schmidt’s ‘Election Threats Task Force’ has not contributed effectively to addressing potential threats beyond county lines.

“This investigation serves as a stark reminder of the lengths criminals are willing to go to try and impact our electoral process,” Cutler remarked. He emphasized his alignment with county leaders and fellow House Republicans who advocate for increased security measures to safeguard every legal vote in Pennsylvania.
