House Republican Leader Bryan Cutler has expressed his support for the ongoing voter registration fraud investigation in Lancaster County. Cutler praised the efforts of the Lancaster County Board of Elections and the district attorney’s office, emphasizing their role in maintaining election integrity.

“Pennsylvanians have demanded our elections be secure, safe and accurate, and I applaud the work by the Lancaster County Board of Elections and the district attorney’s office to catch and root out fraud in our election process,” stated Cutler. He noted that as voter registration records are set this year, it is crucial to protect every vote.

Cutler also acknowledged the dedication of election staff and volunteers, especially after recent accusations from Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt against Lancaster County. “The commitment of the Board of Elections staff and volunteers deserves special recognition,” he said. Cutler criticized Schmidt’s ‘Election Threats Task Force’ for not addressing what he called a significant threat.

He described the investigation as a reminder of potential threats to electoral processes. “This investigation serves as a stark reminder of the lengths criminals are willing to go to try and impact our electoral process,” Cutler remarked. He reaffirmed his support for county leaders and House Republicans advocating for increased security measures.
