Census Bureau: 76.3% of people in Lancaster County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 550,480 citizens living in Lancaster County in 2021, 76.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 420,239 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 204,304 were male, constituting 48.6%, and 215,935 were female, making up 51.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lancaster County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 79.1%.
